Single Stick Bicycle Safety Lights!!

N-Vison Bicycle Safety lights are used to reduce the number of ‘crossing-path’ collisions between cyclists and motorists, which are a significant cause of death and injury. 

The new retail package is pre-assembled and easily attaches three sticks per wheel powered by a 9 volt battery.  Four color styles are available; red, yellow, green and a combination package of red, yellow and green sticks.  Extremely efficient low voltage LED lights are utilized, making battery life several weeks to months of continuous use.

The new Single Stick Safety Lights provide a new level of affordability and safety, for cyclists who travel at dawn, dusk and evening by retailing for $19.99.   All  FlexPro and N-Vison products are made and assembled in the USA.

FAQS

Retail package contains three sticks for one wheel powered by 9 volt battery.  LED lights are waterproof and battery is encased in a water resistant battery case with on/off switch.  Each of the three sticks is 7 inches long by 1/2 inch wide.  Weight of retail package is 43 grams without battery and 90 grams with battery.

Before installing your FlexPro N-Vison Night Lights for Bikes, slide back the cover. From the Battery compartment, and install a 9-volt alkaline battery.  With normal use the battery will last from several nights to weeks of use.	Slide the cover back to insert the battery
STEP 1   You can install the bicycle safety lights directly to the spokes with the wheels attached or removed.  These directions show the wheel removed.    Although 2-Color Sticks are shown, the same instructions apply to 2-Color Fins and Single Color Sticks.   Before starting, it helps to see how the wheel is going to look at the end of the process.    Take note of the distance between the sticks, which is rougly120 degrees. Keep this in mind as your follow the steps below.  You will begin insertion of the sticks on the opposite side of the tire in the next step. STEP 2 Hold the three sticks together and locate an opening in the spokes, which will be the first spoke crossing closest to the wheel hub.  While still holding the sticks together, slowly thread them through this opening, and hold them in place. Be prepared to thread the sticks though the wheel spokes slowly and carefully. Do not attempt to rush this step, or force the sticks as they can be damaged	Positioning the sticks for insertion
STEP 3   Looking at the bottom layer of spokes that the sticks will be going through, divide the wheel into thirds (or 120 degrees).    You will be threading each one of the three sticks into these openings.  Please be cautious and move slowly during the threading process to avoid breakage. STEP 4 Gently thread each one of the sticks into one of the 120 degree openings in the spokes, and thread them all the way through the wheel so they are starting to emerge from the bottom side	Sticks being threaded thru the insertion points
STEP 5 Once the sticks  have been completely threaded through the insertion points, gently turn the wheel over to complete the final installation stages.	Sticks after threading thru the wheel
STEP 6 Lay down the wheel with the sticks laid out on top.  Arrange them to complete dividing the wheel into thirds.	Sticks laid out ready for plastic ties
STEP 7 Once you are satisfied that the safety sticks are dividing the wheel into thirds, use the provided plastic ties to attach the sticks to the spokes.	Sticks attached to spokes before trimming plastic ties
STEP 8 Attach the battery box to spokes as close to the wheel hub as possible while still allowing the switch to be easily accessed.  You may choose to mount the switch to be accessible from front or back of the wheel.  The arrangment shown here has the switch facing out.	Attaching the battery box

The second Ace to grace Team FlexPro is quite the young man who just turned nine years old; Nathan Mallory.  Though flying seriously for only seven months, he has not only impressed and won over Team FlexPro leader Sean Whitney; but the grizzled sceptics that run FlexPro.
   

At ease with either planes or heli, Nathan is making an aggressive study of the Align 500.  Perhaps the only thing stranger than watching such a young talent literally tear a hole in the sky; is to see us older men (we are being so generous with that term) acting like so many vulture’s staring in row, as we ogle his skill and speed.   It’s eerie… but it’s almost like he doesn’t ever, ever crash….

In a bow to Admiral Rickover, who said, “Get ’em Young, and Train ‘em Right”, Nathan started simulator work before flying; beginning with Real Flight 4.0, before switching to Phoenix just a few months ago.   Just before Christmas of last year Nathan started out flying an Air Havoc, but then quickly progressed to an E-Flite CX2.
 

By the time of the Brooks, Oregon Flyin in May, Nathan was flying an E-Flite Blade 400 3D.  A month later he had buddy boxed a 600 nitro with Kenny McDonald and Shawn Whitney.   Oh… for those of us who have had a tendency to get complicant about watching his stunning aerial stunts when he flys the Align 500… keep in mind he’s only been flying this bird for about a month!

This will be a young man to watch .

Team FlexPro Ace Leader - Sean Whitney

Burning a hole in the sky with his hair on fire is routine for Team FlexPro Pilot Sean Whitney.   At 23 Sean already has a history of fast cars, fast boats and fast helis.  It would be ungentlemenly to attribute similar words to his lady fair and better half, Jessica…. but lets just say she sizzles.

No one flys faster, lower and harder than Sean.  His orders as Team FlexPro Pilot can be summed up in the one phrase you hear shouted out whenever Sean is flying; “Lower!”… “Lower!”… “Lower”

Making rapid advances over the last two years into Pro caliber, (see the former editor of RC Heli Magazine’s review of Sean) Sean’s flying has been admired by visiting pro’s at events throughout the Pacific Northwest.  Sean’s fast crack rolls, vertical near slams into the ground, and his high speed super low, low passes that bring up grass clipping, strawberry leaves and the occasional Oregon banana slug are just too cool!

Revolutionary Night Flight Kit for RC Planes

FlexPro N-Vison night gear brings new materials and dynamic lighting concepts to Slow Sticks, Strykers, Park Flyers, Zagi and other Flying Wings.

N-Vison Lightn’n Rods mounted on the wings, wing tips, tails and fuselage provide increased visibility during the day and brillant displays by night.   The result is better pilot orientation during day and night flying.

As bright or brighter than the current Rope Lighting, N-Vison Lightn’n Rods have very low power consumption (.10 mAh per two LED’s); and do not require Rope’s heavy battery pack, switches and controller.  Power for the N-Vison system is supplied from the existing extra channel on your receiver.

N-Vison Lightn’n Rods come pre-assembled, with all LED’s, resistors, wiring and connectors fitted.  This dramatically reduces installation times.  Most users have their N-Vison systems ready within half an hour or less.  You are ready for enhanced day or night flying quickly and efficiently.
