BICYCLE SAFETY LIGHTS FOR NIGHT RIDING

For cyclists today, the paramount issue is safety. At night, national safety studies on cycling translates to a simple axiom…….

Motorists need to have cyclists visible and recognizable at as great a distance as possible.

An observer of night cycling would note that many are using a headlamp and flashing rear beacon, but most cyclists are virtually invisible from the side.

National analysis of bicycle-car accidents reveals that more than 50% are “crossing-path” accidents; where the car collides into the side of the bicycle.

Today’s bicycles are required to be sold with reflectors mounted on the spokes, but their ability to be rapidly recognized by motorists has been questioned by many experts.

Safetin Night Light Fins at speed - Blue/Green

FLEXPRO N-VISON BRAND BRINGS NIGHT SAFETY TO BICYCLES

FlexPro, Inc. is addressing the issue of cyclist safety, visibility and recognition by introducing it’s new and revolutionary N-Vison brand of Safety Night Lights for Bikes.

Based on our tried and proven expertise in RC aircraft night lighting, Safety Night Lights for Bikes attach to the bicycle spokes and a provides a high degree of illumination, without the excessive glare that characterizes many of the current lighting systems.

Safety Night Light Fins at rest- Green/Red

The highly illuminative lighting greatly adds to the visibility of any cyclist; yet the low glare characteristics do not blind motorists.

The result is strong visiblity at greater distances, especially in regards to “crossing path” collisions; where the sooner a motorist can recognize and identify a cyclist; the lower the potential for a dangerous intersection.

Safety Night Light Fins at rest – Red/Blue

In addition to the phenomenal glow of the wheels from the side; the Safety Night Lights unique design throws a rotating cascade of miniature, and non-glaring color spotlights visible from the front and rear of the cycle at great distances.

Finally, unlike many other systems, the Safety Night Lights stay highly illuminated at all speeds - even when you are stopped.

In sum, all N-Vison Safety Night Lights for Bikes provide unique and unparalled 360 degrees of highly visible, non-glare lighting that allows detection and recognition by motorists at greater nightime distances.

The Safety lights are powered by a water resistant 9 volt battery box with an On/Off switch. Several weeks of safer night cycling can be obtained from a single 9 volt battery; but for sustainability use a rechargeable 9 volt battery and cycle it periodically.

Installation is simple, and takes about 15 minutes per wheel. Install a 9 volt battery, slide the cover closed and you’re ready for safer night riding.

FlexPro’s N-Vison Safety Night Lights for Bikes come in two distinctive styles; N-Vison Sports Fins and N-Vison Bars. Sports Fins are 4.5 inches and yield high luminosity. The Light Bars are 8.5 inches long and 1/2 inch wide, and illuminate the entire wheel radius.

The Light Bars are an economical solution, while the Sports Fins give an exciting accent to any wheel.

Either Bars or Fins provide youth, teens and adults with enhanced visibility and safety – especially during the early evenings of winter, or the longer riding hours of summer.
